All of our teachers have a minimum of two years post CELTA experience. We endeavour to recruit teachers who have long-term residency in Turkey. We also provide many alternative programmes that consider the individual companies' needs.

We mostly use communicative methods in our classes. Attendees are given the opportunity to practice speaking English, build up their vocabulary, and improve their English grammar. The most important things for attendees are to become good listeners , to comprehend well, to reach efficient vocabulary knowledge, to speak fluently and to be able to write well. Learning a language has many components, but in order to build up an effective communication, one needs to be a good speaker and listener as well as having an extensive vocabulary and knowledge of grammar. Closed Group Courses at Companies 

 

Content of the Programme

English Istanbuls closed group programmes are recommended for companies whose employees share a similar level, knowledge of grammar, educational expectations and needs. Closed group programmes are one of the most popular among the range of courses we provide, as they aim to find solutions for attendees about learning a language and meet their needs.

These programmes primarily start with a written and an oral test to find out attendees’ level of English skills. After assessing their level, educational goals are determined.  Then the employees of your company are grouped according to their levels and needs and directed to the most appropriate programme.

Duration of the Programme

During this group programme that takes place in your company, your employees’ attendence and development is reported regularly. We provide online reports for companies that wish to follow students’ progress. Furthermore, we are aware that feedback and follow-up are very important elements of educational process, which is why we provide  regular reports for you and your employees to use the time they spend in language learning more effectively. We also provide all possible support though our academic and management staff.

In-company closed groups programmes are charged by hours completed in a month.

 

Open Group Courses at English Istanbul

 

Content of the Programme

One of the most popular educational programmes at English Istanbuls Corporate Courses Department is our Open Group Programmes. These programmes are generally recommended if your company does not have enough space or training facilities for education

if the employees working for your company  are not of a similar level of English and do do not have expectations and needs in common

if the employees prefer taking English courses in an atmosphere where they can socialize with other people from other  occupations or backgrounds.

With reasons such as these, many companies and institutions prefer  to have their employees join open group programmes at English Istanbul.

Duration of the Programme

​

English Istanbuls schedules according to academic periods. All course start and end dates are specified in English Istanbuls’s academic calendar. If there is sufficient demand at all levels, classes begin on the dates specified. Any of your employees who wish to participate in English Istanbuls courses are required to follow the registration dates and should take written and spoken placement test. They may then register for the most appropriate class for them. For employees attending our open courses in any English Istanbuls branch, we provide a report on their attendance and development to the Human Resources Departments at the end of every term.

Fees

​

Generally, courses are charged periodically. Company participants are remunerated for their participation in the program. Englısh Istanbul, for negotiated corporate companies, has Corporate Discount Rates available parallel to the number of students who enrol in courses in the same period.
